How does the multiple choice element (text) work?

With the multiple choice element (text), the user can select a value based on text. The user chooses one of the values ​​when filling out the draft.

Explanation

The multiple choice element (text) is located under the Input elements in the Form Builder.

Label

In the label field, if desired, you can give a title to the element. This title can be filled using aliases and/or calculations.

Text

Here, you enter text that is editable. This can also be filled in using aliases and/or calculations.

Vertical or horizontal

Indicate whether the values ​​are displayed vertically or horizontally to the user.

Required

If you check this box, the user must fill out the element to complete the draft.

Only show the selected value on the document

This option ensures that in the document, you only see the options that the user has selected.

Values

Use the '+ Value' button to add a choice option for the user. Enter the name of the value. The value can be filled in using aliases and/or calculations. Additionally, you can specify whether this should be pre-checked by default.

You can easily import values ​​via the 'Import' button. You can then insert data from, for example, Excel.

Allow your own value

By selecting this option, the user can add their own value when filling out the draft.

Subforms

For this element, it is possible to set up subforms. Depending on the given answer, the user will see appropriate content.
