How does the coordinates element work?

With the coordinates element, you can create a map with a location, which is then displayed in the document. This feature is useful when there is no known address, and you still want to show a map of a location.

Explanation

The coordinates element is located under Input elements in the Form Builder.

Label

Optionally, you can give a title to the element under Label. This title can be filled using aliases and/or calculations if desired.

Text

Here you provide a text that can be edited. This can also be filled in using aliases and/or calculations.

Default input type

The element offers two variants for entering coordinates. It defaults to decimals and degrees (DD decimal degrees). You can also change this to decimals, minutes, and seconds (DMS). The user can always change this themselves.

Output type

Here you indicate how the coordinates are displayed in the document. You can set them up in the same way as the input.

Required

If you check this, the user must have filled in the element to complete the draft.

Display a map in the document

Check this option if a map should be shown in the document. Then you can specify the type of map and the level of detail of the map.

Settings

Here you can specify aliases and adjust the formatting and visibility.
