In some cases, it is better that an inspection, audit, or other form cannot be completed so that you only send the report to the client once it is correct. For these situations, we have added the blocking element as a new feature to use.
Using the Blocking Element
If you want to use the blocking element, you need at least a Professional license. You can find the element in the Form Builder under the 'Static' elements section. Add the blocking element to one of your forms to ensure that the user cannot complete the form while it is active. You can only add the blocking element to subforms or conditions; otherwise, you would never be able to complete the form.
The following images show the blocking element activating when the audit is answered with 'No'. Indicating that the draft cannot be finalized before this is changed to 'Yes'.
Modifying Informative Text
From the Form Builder, you can change the informative text of the blocking element. You can do this from the settings of the element itself or directly from the Form Builder by clicking on the text. This allows you to edit it.
You can also choose to fill the blocking element with aliases from your form.
