How can I delete forms, drafts, documents and users and where can I find the recycle bin?

Forms, drafts, documents and users that you delete end up in the 'recycle bin' and are kept for a certain amount of time. Learn where to find the recycle bin and what settings are available to you.

Deleting forms, concepts, documents and users

On the web (in the browser), you can (accidentally or unintentionally) delete forms, drafts, documents and users by using the recycle bin icon in the upper right corner of the screen when you have opened the item.

All the buttons that are available when viewing a document or draft. Use the "Delete" button to place the item in the recycle bin.

List view

In the list view of forms, drafts and documents, you can also use the right mouse button to delete that specific item immediately.

Android and iOS apps

In our Android and iOS apps, you can only delete drafts and documents.

Android:

When viewing a draft or document, you can select "Delete" in the upper right corner under the three dots.

In the list view you can also quickly and directly delete a concept or document by clicking on the three dots and then selecting 'Delete'.

iOS:

Open the document or concept. In the screen, you can select 'Delete' at the top right under the three dots.

In the list view of both drafts and documents, you can quickly and directly delete the item by swiping it to the left and then clicking on the trash can icon.

In addition to being able to delete drafts or documents 1-by-1, you can use the "Edit" button in both list views at the top left. You can then very quickly select multiple items in the list (or all of them) and then choose 'Delete'. All selected items will then be removed at once. When you are done, click 'Done' again at the top left.

Restore forms, concepts, documents and users

Deleted forms, drafts, documents and users always end up in the 'Recycle bin' first. The 'Recycle bin' can only be found in the web browser. You open it from the main menu (on the left side) by clicking on the 'Recycle bin' button.

You can restore it by clicking on it and selecting 'Restore' in the pop-up:

How long the items remain available in the Recycle Bin depends on your user license.

Premium	14 days
Enterprise	30 days

Important! After this period, the items are permanently deleted from the server and cannot be restored.
