For the applications we develop for your Apple devices, we regularly carry out updates. This includes updating the following aspects in our applications:
- New developments
- Security updates
- Resolving issues in previous versions
Because we regularly perform updates, it is also important that the app on your Apple device is up-to-date. This way, you always work with the most reliable version of Incontrol.
Automatic updating
We recommend enabling automatic updating of the app from the Apple App Store so that you can immediately use the most recent version. Below, you can read how to enable automatic updates on your device:
- Open the Settings application on your device
- Open the App Store
- Under Automatic Downloads, enable App Updates
- Under Mobile Data, you can enable Automatic Downloads if you have sufficient data
- You can also set App Downloads to Always Allow
It may happen that even with automatic updating, the update is not always downloaded immediately. Apple has its own algorithm for this. Through the App Store, you can always check if there are updates available.
Manual updating
You can easily update the app yourself using the following steps:
- Open the App Store on your Apple device
- Click on your account in the top right corner
- Under Available Updates, you can see if an update is available
- If you have automatic updates enabled, you can find them under Upcoming Automatic Updates
- You can click on Update to immediately update the app
Note: You are responsible for keeping the application on your device up-to-date. If the app is not up-to-date, we are not liable for any issues in the application.
