How do I update my license?

To downgrade or upgrade your license

Want to change your number of licenses, or up/downgrade to a package with more or less rights? In this article, we explain how to do this.

  1. Go to Incontrol's web environment.
    If you use another brand that Maxd'Oro offers, please check:
    1. Inspect4All

    3. If you have your "own domain" in our product, go to this url (endpoint).
  2. On the left side of the navigation bar, click on your organization's name.
  3. In the organization menu go to 'Subscription', here you can adjust your license(s) as you wish. Also read the article "How can I make a payment?" to know how you can adjust your Subscription.

Incontrol works with a prepaid (license) credit. Paid amounts are valid for a period (month or year) of the chosen license type. A change in the number of licenses (up-/ downgrade), or in the license type, are first offset against the available credit. In short, when adjusting the license, the length of the new period until the expiration date is recalculated based on the number of users, the chosen license type, and the remaining prepaid credit. 

Enterprise license

An Enterprise license is a customized license, set up to our customer's requirements. This license cannot be arranged online. If you want to quickly and easily arrange everything yourself online, you can purchase a Basic, Professional or Premium license. Read all the differences between the various options at getincontrol.eu/pricing.

Terminating your license

How you can terminate your license depends on the way you pay for the license.

The following options exist:

  1. Payment is made online and your license is automatically renewed (direct debit):
    If your license is automatically renewed and you want to terminate it, you can change it through your account settings. Your license will then remain active until the specified expiry date. To disable your automatic renewal, follow these steps:
    1. Log in as an organization administrator with your login details.
    2. Navigate to the 'Organization' section.
    3. Go to 'Subscription'.
    4. Stop the automatic renewal by clicking on 'Disable automatic renewal'.

  2. Payment is made online where you periodically make the payment manually:
    You don't have to do anything. The license is not renewed after the expiration date and terminates automatically.
  3. Payment is made via invoicing from Maxdoro:
    If you have an annual license where there is annual billing, you can cancel the license by sending a message to facturen@maxdoro.nl.

    When canceling an annual license via billing, we apply a notice period of 3 months.
  4. Letting your trial account expire:
    If the account is inactive for 6 months, the account will be converted to a 'guest account'. Furthermore, all documents and forms will be deleted and the account will only have access to the standard forms within the platform. After another 6 months of inactivity, the entire account will be deleted.
