How to work with Cases in Incontrol Inspect

Cases can now be added and managed in the Incontrol Inspect app for Android and iOS.

We have redesigned the user interface to make searching and finding cases easier. Also, viewing and modifying a case works faster and is more reliably. Download the Incontrol Inspect app for iOS or Android and experience it for yourself.

Cases allow effective collaboration with team members and having all communication and updates in one central location. This allows you - the user - and your team to seamlessly share information and insights, have important discussions and keep track of the progress.

Searching, filtering and sorting cases

Retrieving/searching for an existing case has never been easier. With the new large tiles on the cases screen, you can easily filter by criteria such as "My cases," "Cases with a deadline," or cases belonging to a specific team. In addition, you can also search by name, description or case number. You can further filter the list of cases based on status, priority and deadline.

Viewing and editing cases

The user interface for viewing and editing a case has been revamped. Case information is clearly organized and presented in a way that enhances the user experience. The most frequently used functionalities have been placed in strategic locations, allowing users to quickly and easily perform actions such as changing the case status. This allows users to work more efficiently and optimize their workflow.

On iOS, you do this by swiping left on a case:

Adding or removing images

An image says more than a thousand words. Therefore, adding images is easy and fast. This allows users to add visual context to the case to provide even more clarity. Whether documenting damages, showing specific product features or attaching relevant photos, adding images enriches the case information and promotes better understanding and collaboration.

You can take pictures with your camera or import images from your photo library. Once the images are added, they are instantly synced to the server.
