Microsoft Edge: Minimum version requirements

Microsoft Edge typically receives regular updates for the browser. These updates often include security patches, ensuring your safety while working in this browser.

Updating it also affects the applications we develop. After a few months, most of our users are on the latest operating systems. This means our applications need to comply with the most recent changes. Consequently, we may not always support outdated operating systems.

In practice, this means we won't further update the app to a newer version if you haven't updated your browser to the latest version. You may still be able to use the app, but this is at your own risk. Additionally, we may decide to cease supporting the app, rendering it unusable on an outdated browser version.

Updating Edge

Microsoft has written its own article on how to best update Edge. You can read all about it via this article. In it, you'll find instructions on checking the current version and updating the browser on your device.

Minimum requirements

For Edge, we adhere to the rule of providing support for our platform in your browser for up to 3 versions back. Suppose the current Edge version is 109. This means we support versions 109, 108, and 107.

Note*: You are responsible for keeping Edge up-to-date on your device. If Edge isn't updated to meet the minimum requirements, we are not liable for any issues in the application.

Note**: If you are using an outdated device, Edge may no longer receive updates. This means your device cannot use the latest version of Edge and is therefore not suitable for using Incontrol. In this case, it's best to consider using a different device to continue using Incontrol.
