Google Chrome: Minimum Version Requirements

Google Chrome typically receives regular updates for the browser. These updates often include security enhancements, ensuring you can work safely in this browser.

Updating Chrome also impacts the applications we develop. After a few months, most of our users are on the most recent operating systems. This means our applications will need to comply with the latest changes, and as a result, we may not be able to support outdated operating systems indefinitely.

In practice, this means that we will not update the app to a newer version if your browser is not updated to the latest version. You may still be able to use the app, but this will be at your own risk. Additionally, we may decide to stop supporting the app, which means you would not be able to use the app on an outdated browser version.

Updating Google Chrome

Google has an article about how to best update Google Chrome. You can read all about it through this article. The article explains how to check the current version and how to update the browser on your device.

Minimum Requirements

For Google Chrome, we follow the rule of supporting up to three versions back for our platform in your browser. For example, if the current version of Google Chrome is 11, we support versions 11, 10, and 9.

*Note: You are responsible for keeping Google Chrome up to date on your device. If Google Chrome is not updated to meet the minimum requirements, we are not liable for any issues in the application.

**Note: If you are using an outdated device, it is possible that Google Chrome will no longer provide updates. This means your device will not be able to use the latest version of Google Chrome, making it unsuitable for using Incontrol. In this case, it is best to consider using another device to continue using Incontrol.
