For the applications we develop for your Android devices, we regularly perform updates. This includes updating the following aspects in our applications:
- New developments
- Security updates
- Fixing issues in previous versions
Because we regularly perform updates, it's also important that the app on your Android device is up-to-date. This way, you always work with the most reliable version of Incontrol on your device
Automatic updating
We recommend allowing the app to update automatically from the Google Play Store, so you can immediately use the most recent version. Below, you can read how to enable automatic updates on your device:
- Open the Google Play Store application on your device
- Click on your account in the top right corner
- Go to Settings
- Expand the Network preferences
- Under Automatically update apps, you can specify whether to update them only via Wi-Fi or over any network
- Select the option that suits you best
It may happen that even with automatic updating, the update isn't always downloaded immediately. Android has its own algorithm for this. You can always check if updates are available via the Google Play Store.
Manual updating
You can easily update the app yourself via the following steps:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
- Click on your account in the top right corner
- Click on Manage apps & devices
- Under Updates available, you can click on View details
- Click on Update to update the app to the latest version immediately
Note: You are responsible for keeping the application on your device up-to-date. If the app is not up-to-date, we are not liable for any issues in the application.
